As disconcerting as having the heart of commerce and culture ripped out and shown to you still pumping dollars can be, it sure puts things in a perspective the tired old "underground/mainstream" arguments can't touch. For an extra thrill, try looking at TV networks as attention-suppliers for the advertisers, rather than as content-suppliers to viewers, financed by ads.
She _did_ say they work within "pop-culture," which may or may not give you a hint at when the next episode of AMP will air..
